Excerpt – Nina’s POV

“Are you trying to get me liquored up and take advantage of me for a second time?” I giggle. “Well, since I am thirsty, your ploy might just work. I’ll have a beer.”

“If I recall correctly, you took advantage of me. Being the good law-abiding citizen that I am, I was driving at 65mph focused on the road. You used your seduction powers that no human being in their right mind can resist. I was at your mercy to do as you pleased. Now, it’s my turn.” Josh’s nervousness instantly vanishes. He gives me a predatory and lustful grin as he approaches me. Instantly, I feel tiny next to his tall and muscular body.

“I’m not strategizing on getting you into bed. I don’t need to. You’ll do it willingly and enjoy every minute of it. In the meantime, take off your clothes or I can do it for you, whatever you wish.” He uses an authoritative tone as he hovers over me, immediately my knees become weak.

My jaw drops. So blunt. If I wasn’t so turned on by his take charge attitude, I’d give him a piece of my mind. “Feeling pretty confident, I see.” I acknowledge sheepishly.

“Our clothes have gun powder on them, they need to be washed. I’ll put them in the wash so they can be ready for you in the morning. It’s not my fault the gun powder is one hell of a convenience.” Josh raises his right eyebrow twice while showing off that boyish smirk I’ve become so captivated with.

Mmm…Sexy.

“Fine. Can I shower and borrow some clothes while I wait for mine to be ready?” I feel myself getting anxious, my goodness it’s hot in here. Why does he have so much control over my emotions? Usually, I’m in control, I run shit. Now, I feel like one of those defenseless virgins who has never seen a dick in her life and behaves completely coy. That is so not me.

Josh hands me my drink, bends down, and whispers in my ear, “Can I join you? I’d love to feel your soft, slippery skin against mine. I’ll be on my best behavior if you allow me to shower with you.” The warmth of his breath and his clean citrus scent drive me in a frenzy.

My mouth goes dry, I lick my lips slowly contemplating a decision. I take a sip of my beer. Josh backs away and stares at me intently with his compelling hazel eyes underneath thick, long lashes awaiting my response.

Who the hell am I kidding? I chug my beer. “Okay.” I respond simply. Screw these damn pretenses. I need to keep it real…I’m horny and he’s one hell of a fuck.
